Candidate Greg Frazer was elected to the Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council in the by-election that took place Saturday September 3rd.

He will fill the seat left vacant when Councillor Wendy Johnson resigned in June.

Frazer defeated the other three candidates and is scheduled to be sworn in at the upcoming General council meeting on Tuesday September 13th in the Council Chambers.

A retired dentist, Dr. Gregory Frazer is the son of Cyril and Janet Frazer and is a graduate of McGill and Harvard Universities.

He also currently sits on the board of directors for a major Toronto hospital.

Frazer has been elected as the ninth councillor of the 58th Elected Council and will sit for the remaining year of the usual 4yr term, at which time a general election will take place in the fall of 2023.
