The Whaletown Community Club (WCC) is hosting an unprecedented amount of entertainment over the next month.

Most notably, a traveling comedic act called the “Myrtle Sisters Review” will be featured soon. There hasn’t been a touring comedic act at the Gorge Hall in an estimated 10 years, according to Howie Roman, longtime hall manager.

Shaun Canaday, current social convener for the WCC, has been utilizing his personal network to build up the schedule for the summer months. He attributes the wave of entertainment to “a little bit of magic, a little bit of diplomacy and experience in the music industry.”

The lineup includes Clanna Morna on July 14, Cortes Pride July 21, and Cheko Soto July 29. The Awakeneers, Rockson Road, and GTO & the Grateful Living will also be presented by the WCC this summer.
