Saint Soldier is a Fraser Valley musician who gives more to his community than songs. Through a program called "MCC Community Future’s Speak Your Mind" series, Soldier works with young adults ranging 18 to 25. The program teaches all types of life skills. Soldier’s contributions to the program include teaching the youth about creative writing skills — whether it be storytelling or poetry — or music skills.

Due to the pandemic, this year the program moved online, and all the participants have been connecting through Zoom. Saint Soldier says he feels a moral obligation to help the young people get on the right track for life.
