Four local golfers to play in the BC Men’s Senior Golf Championship next week

Four local golfers have qualified for the British Columbia Men’s Senior Golf Championship in Williams Lake next week.

Three players from Nelson Reg Clarkson, Bob Hall and Paul Burkhart along with one from Castlegar, Don Courson, will be representing Zone One West at the tournament.

This is the first time the West Kootenays has fielded a full team at the tournament. Reg Clarkson, the General Manager of Granite Pointe Golf Club in Nelson, says, “that’s the real exciting part about this [tournament].”

The tournament runs from July 24 to July 27. You can follow the tournament live on the British Columbia Golf Association website.
