Group behind Tofino Film Fest says time ticking on fate of west coasts keystone species — the wild Pacific Salmon

It’s not easy holding a film festival when there can be no crowd.

But the Clayoquot Action group was nonetheless stoked to host a virtual rendition of their annual Tofino Adventure Film Festival (TAFF) this past weekend.

Festival curator Keegan McColl shared his thoughts with Kootenay Coop Radio on the farthest left coast’s offerings — including a record breaking cold snap Kootenay canoe and ski touring adventure, a look into the life of Canada's greatest surf star, and the urgent plight of the west coast’s keystone species — the wild Pacific salmon.

The Tofino Adventure Film Festival runs March 12 to 17.
