e-Townships products are now available for online shopping.

e-Townships (the crafty name for Eastern Townships) first opened in January 2020. It is a store that offers only locally made products from the Eastern Townships. Products include: bread, vegetables, jewellery, knit goods, skin products, animal products, beer, wine, etc.

“The idea of the platform is really to group all the products of the Eastern Townships, both perishable and non-perishable, into one platform to make it a one stop shop and really easy for people to shop locally,“ explained Virginia Wilson, owner of E-Townships.

Being a popular shopping location for citizens the constantly changing government restrictions were starting to take a toll on business, Wilson, with a website creator background, created an e-commerce platform for her store. Orders can be placed on the website (www.etownships.com) to be picked up in-store, curbside, local delivery or sent via Canada Post.

“We’re still open because we’re considered groceries. We have over 51 per cent of our products [that] are perishable,” said Wilson.

If you are willing and able, please support a local business.
