Doll on final campaign week in Strathcona Regional District – Area C race

As British Columbians head to the polls on Saturday, Oct. 15 for municipal elections, there are just two candidates in the race to represent Area C of the Strathcona Regional District: Marc Doll and Robyn Mawhinney. The area includes Quadra and Read islands, as well as smaller communities on other islands and inlets.

Doll's campaign slogan is "Empower Community" and by that, he says it means he will be bringing people together through a community association from all sectors to determine priorities and provide direction in a collaborative process. His co-operative approach is a much better way to achieve positive change than having a political representative determine priorities on their own, he adds.

Doll points to his years of experience being involved in various community organizations, as well as being well versed in the political process his entire life, for equipping him to become the best choice to represent Area C.
