On this week’s episode of CHMA Talks, we present another edition of the Sackville town councillors’ roundtable, this time with Deputy Mayor Andrew Black and councillor Allison Butcher.

The conversation starts off on health care, discussing the recent service cuts at the Sackville hospital, Horizon’s presentation to council on Monday, and Wednesday’s rally of citizens. Then we move on to the province’s plan to amalgamate Sackville, Dorchester and surrounding areas and find out what Butcher and Black think of the reform plan. We also talk heritage buildings and regulations, in light of the demolition this week of a 120-year-old building in the heart of downtown Sackville. And to end on a happier note, we briefly discuss local artist Indu Varma’s planned public art piece for Sackville.
