Loyalist Township council recognized two new members of staff for 2023 at their final meeting of the year. This is the first time since the pandemic the township has been able to do staff introductions in person.

CAO Rebecca Murphy started the presentation and had the respective department heads introduce their new staff members.

Council recognized project coordinator for the economic growth and community development services department, Maddison Lockwood, and information technology support analyst, Daniel Todd. Mayor Jim Hegadorn noted the progress that new staff have already made within the township and its operations.

"I know I've already interacted with all of them that are here tonight, and they've already moved the township forward." said Hegadorn.
