The Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre (ACC) is gearing up for a busy month. Krista Hansen-Robitschek, director of the ACC, says they have a jam packed schedule from now until Christmas.
"It all starts when Supper Club takes to the stage tonight, tomorrow it’s Dave McHugh with his Neil Diamond Tribute show, followed by Off Broadway Players doing Green Day’s American Idiot,” she says. “We also have a play coming up called To the girls, which is a play from the Stephenville Theatre Festival that they’re taking on tour.”
Willow Kean stars in Supper Club, which has shown across the province recently. She says the play is from two years ago, and they had such positive feedback they wanted to take the show on the road.
“A friend of my Aunt’s in St. John’s took her 93 year old mother to the play and her mother was delighted, “ she says. “On the way home she wanted to stop and pick up some wine, so I guess I’ve unleashed the beast.”
Supper Club will be in Stephenville this Thursday.
