Candy Cane Lane returns to Edmonton for another festive season

Candy Cane Lane has been a staple Christmas event in Edmonton for over 50 years, it's back this year, and better than ever. The Crestwood community tradition features a festival of lights, sleigh rides, food trucks, and much more.

The celebration happens from December 16th to the 18th and from December 21st to the 23rd. On December 10th, 17th and 23rd, Candy Cane Lane is hosting an "Open Street Night", where everyone is encouraged to hop out of their cars, slow down and take in the scenery from the street.

This year, the event has more sculptures, and more accessible features added to the wagon rides, for those who may have a hard time getting onto their wagons. Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to support the Edmonton Food Bank.
