Three weeks ago, CHIP 101.9 revealed that residents of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes had been struggling for several years with recurring problems and failures of Bell’s telephone line. Since these revelations, several technicians have been on site to ensure that the service meets customer expectations. One of the customers affected by these recurring problems, Wayne Wilson, pointed out that in the past he sometimes found it difficult to get adequate service.
Around a dozen customers were questioned by CHIP 101.9, and the latter argued that he hoped that the municipal council of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes could also intervene in order to make Bell more aware of the problems encountered in recent years.
Remember that some residents have been without Bell service for several hours, with no way of contacting emergency services if necessary. Another resident of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, David Gillespie, had reported the situation experienced by some residents of the area.
