Local men’s shelter AutonHomme is once again teaming up with local dépanneur chain Langford’s to provide free Christmas dinners for Pontiacers.

As community worker Gabriel Lemaire explained, this is the third year that they have provided this service to the area, and what started off as a way of giving back to residents of Campbell’s Bay has expanded to neighbouring communities:

He said that the first year they collaborated on the project, it was limited to clients of the shelter and other residents of Campbell’s Bay and they provided just shy of 100 meals. The next year they doubled that number and Lemaire said that he expects to deliver between 200-300 meals this time around:

The meals are free and available to anyone in the Bay or the surrounding area.
Reservations are required by Dec. 13 and the meals will be delivered on Tuesday, Dec. 14 between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
