Agri-tourism webinar brings together experts from Quebec, eastern Ontario and France

A webinar on agri-tourism with the title “Agritourism Gatherings: A virtual series for farm, food, and travel communities” will take place next week on Tuesday, February 15 starting at 11 a.m. The first hour will take place in English, followed by an hour in French and will bring together experts from Quebec, eastern Ontario and the Aube region of France. The moderator will be L’Isle-aux-Allumettes farmer David Gillespie. He explained that the event was part of a series in the lead-up to the International Workshop on Agri-Tourism, taking place in Vermont later this year.

Gillespie explained that the speakers will talk about success stories in all three regions, and discuss ways to market directly to consumers.
