According to Seth Klein, this federal election has seen the major parties “...compelled to present stronger climate platforms than they did even two years ago.” But, asks Seth Klein, are the major parties “...telling the truth about the severity of the crisis and what we have to do?...by those markers, none of the parties have presented a full climate emergency plan.”

Seth Klein is team lead and director of strategy with the climate emergency unit, a project of the David Suzuki Institute, as well as the author of A Good War: Mobilizing Canada for the Climate Emergency. He spoke to The Pulse about this year’s federal election, and how the parties are addressing climate change, the most pressing issue of our time.

The good news, as Seth sees it, is that “...there are more true climate champions running than I remember seeing before.”
