Abbotsford MLA Mike de jong is frustrated with Highway delays. MLA Mike de Jong spoke with CIVL regarding the unacceptable delays in expanding Canada's national highway. “If you ask people in Central and Eastern Fraser Valley they would identify the problems with Highway 1 as may be the single biggest issue people are confronted by in terms of the ability to move around. We tend to think about Highway 1 the freeway from the perspective of a local Transportation need we have to remember this is Canada's national highway”.
