A new intergenerational park for residents of Grosse Ile

The Municipality of Grosse Ile is in the planning phase of creating an Intergenerational Park for its citizens. The new park will be beneficial for all community members.

The objectives of this project are to:

  • Enhance the current recreational cite to house more activities
  • Provide a gathering place for community members
  • Reach multiple generations through improved infrastructures
  • Encourage a healthier and active lifestyle

The Municipality of Grosse Ile has also purchased a generator for its Municipal Complex. This investment will provide allow the complex to act as a place of safety in case of an emergency.

In the interview below, the Mayor of Grosse Ile, Rose-Elmonde Clarke, explains how these projects will be beneficial to the community:
