Hollyhock, a lifelong education center located on Cortes Island, serves Canadians far and wide. But as the campus opens up for the spring season, there are many offerings available to locals as well.

As the world faced the need to adapt during the pandemic, Hollyhock innovated their services both virtually and locally. Andrea Fisher, campus director at Hollyhock, has helped facilitate special offerings for locals like the coffeehouse, a music night open to the public and free of charge. There are also local presenter evenings that generate funds through donations for a scholarship program. This scholarship program is specifically designed to offer people on Cortes the ability to access Hollyhock programming.
