One BC politician is rating the government’s performance in multiple crises. Todd Stone, Liberal member of the legislative assembly (MLA) representing Kamloops-South Thompson, shares his thoughts on how the Government of British Columbia has handled crises ranging from forest fires to flooding of the Fraser River.
Stone says "we have" supported the public health measures implemented from day one and financial support that has been made available. Looking at all of the different kinds of natural disasters that have occurred in British Columbia over the past year, the provincial government's handling of these disasters can be summed up in a few ways, Stone says. The MLA  believes there's been delayed reaction and no transparency, on the BC government's part, and a general lack of adequate resources.
