University of Fraser Valley (UFV) professor Dr. Bondar has had to cancel her international research plans and get creative at the academic front at home due to pandemic travel restrictions.

Bondar usually travels to foreign countries to conduct biological research — this year, she was scheduled to go to the island nation of Brunei. But like many other Canadians, she's had to cancel travel plans and stay at home.

Bondar is now teaching two new courses at UFV's Chilliwack campus, including one on sustainable fashion. The course explores how the fashion industry is harming the environment.
