A rare and ambitious one billion dollar conservation agreement is reached in British Columbia between First Nations, and federal and provincial governments. Scientists are releasing a beetle from the West Coast of BC into the wild in Nova Scotia. This, in an effort to save hemlock trees. In Ontario, the 59th Six Nations Elected Council was sworn in on November 7th. Also in Ontario, Canadians celebrated Treaties Recognition Week. And to Québec, where a Royal Canadian Legion member hopes to bring his veteran grave marking project, to a national level.
