"Quizzing is a big part my life. I've been doing it pretty consistently for about 15 years now."

Benji Duke is bringing his famed Pub Quiz event all the way from Victoria to the Mansons Landing Community Hall on Cortes this Saturday evening.

"It's just a great way to get everyone talking, communicating your positivity, sharing experiences, sharing culture and just knocking it back and forth and having a good laugh."

Duke has been a Victoria resident for 15 years after migrating from the UK. Shortly after moving, he began doing regular quiz nights and the event grew from there. Duke has thrown over 1,000 quiz nights in BC during his Quizmaster career.

"I think it's really important that people learn just to laugh at themselves and other people, and also celebrate not knowing things as much as you celebrate knowing things."

The night will include fun trivia, music and riddles, with a dance party after. Duke hosts the event, adding entertainment and engaging with crowd.

The event takes place Saturday night with the doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at all Cortes stores or at the door.
