In less than ten days, Nelson residents will cast their vote to elect a new mayor and six city councillors, who will determine how the city should be run for the next four years.

In a series of interviews, Kootenay Co-Op Radio has been sitting down with most of the candidates to find out who they are, what their goals are with their candidacy and why they think they deserve a spot at the council table. The candidates range from current councillors and experienced policy makers, to people making their first venture into politics.

KCR News reporter John Rune has them all on the other side of the microphone.
