This included a $50,000 subsidy for the venture funded by the provincial Tourism Relief Fund.<\/p>\n<p>As well, the staff report called for a $5 across-the-board increase for county taxi fares but this brought questions from the committee in regards to affordability by low-income residents. Instead, Picton Couns.
