The number of confirmed cases among members of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cortescurrents.ca\/tag\/tlaamin\/\">Tla\u2019amin Nation<\/a>, who attended a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mypowellrivernow.com\/31052\/confirmed-case-of-covid-19-reported-in-tlaamin-first-nation\/\">funeral and wake in Powell River<\/a>, has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tlaaminnation.com\/tlaamin-nation-confirms-covid-19-cases-advises-citizens-to-shelter-in-place\/\">risen to seven<\/a>. There isn\u2019t a single COVID-19 patient in any hospital on Vancouver Island.<\/p>\n<p>The last report specific to the greater\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cortescurrents.ca\/tag\/campbell-river\/\">Campbell River<\/a>\u00a0area, which includes\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cortescurrents.ca\/tag\/cortes-island\/\">Cortes<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cortescurrents.ca\/tag\/quadra-island\/\">Quadra<\/a>\u00a0and the rest of the Discovery Islands, is for confirmed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cortescurrents.ca\/covid-cases-in-our-area\/\">cases up until July 31 of this year<\/a>.
