If approved, the site would house up to a million cubic metres of low-level nuclear waste, the majority of which is already situated at the Chalk River site, in an engineered mound roughly 1 km from the Ottawa River.<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fort-Coulonge (525 rue Baume).
