Laporte explained that they had come up with the idea of doing glow in the dark mini-golf at Putting Edge in Ottawa during a discussion with MDJ coordinator Desiree Tremblay Giroux.<\/p>\n<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-89255-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Clip-Sasha-Laporte-mini-golf.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Clip-Sasha-Laporte-mini-golf.mp3\">https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Clip-Sasha-Laporte-mini-golf.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>The mini-golf trip is for children 12 and up and is scheduled for April 22. The group will leave Mansfield at 2 p.m., making several pick-up stops along Hwy. 148 on their way, and will return around 8:30 p.m. The cost is $20 and the deadline for registration is April 15.<\/p>\n<p>To fundraise for the event, the pair are organizing two dances for their peers at the MDJ location in Mansfield (298a rue Principale). The first is a spring dance on April 8 from 7-10 p.m. for ages 11 and up. There is a $2 entrance fee and they will be serving snow cones and popcorn.
