B.C. Association of People on Opiate Maintenance Vice-President Reija Jean and President Laura Shaver, talk about Saturday's drug user march, We Speak Their Names, We March With Rage!<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"The war on the poor and the war on drugs are killing people in our communities at an alarming rate - not only the record high overdose rates, but in all the grinding ways poverty, colonization, police violence, and hateful stigma attack poor people who use drugs everyday.\"<\/p>\n

The memorial march will take place Saturday, Aug.15, at noon and start at the corner of Main and Hastings.<\/p>\n
