{"id":61623,"date":"2021-09-24T09:21:01","date_gmt":"2021-09-24T13:21:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=61623"},"modified":"2021-12-08T07:39:13","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T12:39:13","slug":"expect-more-outages-this-winter-according-to-bc-hydro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/expect-more-outages-this-winter-according-to-bc-hydro\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Expect more outages this winter&#8221; according to BC Hydro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In northern BC and the rest of the province, we should be expecting more extreme weather patterns due to the current climate emergency.<\/p>\n<p>This summer, the province experienced a <a href=\"https:\/\/bc.ctvnews.ca\/expert-explains-the-heat-dome-hovering-above-b-c-alberta-and-territories-1.5487028\">high heat dome<\/a> a draught in many regions and now that temperatures have fallen, the trees are on unsteady ground which will lead to downed trees and power lines.
