NDP Candidate for Skeena-Bulkley Valley Taylor Bachrach is hitting the campaign trail across Northwest BC for the second tome in just two years.<\/p>\n
According to Bachrach, many in his constituency are still struggling to get through the pandemic, especially with a fourth wave on the way.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think a lot of folks are aware of how hard hit the Northwest has been. I know a lot of sectors of our economy have kept going and a lot of folks who\u2019ve managed to stay safe but I was talking to a doctor of his door step, from the emergency ward at the hospital, the other day and he said it got pretty grim there for a bit,\u201d Bachrach said.<\/p>\n
Although there are other issues Bachrach is trying to talk about \u2013 like the climate crisis, wildfires and action on the situation with residential schools \u2013 he reiterated the first thing of peoples minds was getting through the pandemic.<\/p>\n
