{"id":52990,"date":"2021-07-08T14:12:03","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T18:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=52990"},"modified":"2021-07-09T11:35:51","modified_gmt":"2021-07-09T15:35:51","slug":"final-recommendations-for-controversial-prime-ministers-path-project-in-baden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/final-recommendations-for-controversial-prime-ministers-path-project-in-baden\/","title":{"rendered":"First People\u2019s Group recommends removal of Prime Ministers&#8217; Path project in Baden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Host: <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/@NamishModi\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namish Modi<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The First People\u2019s Group formally recommended that the Township of Wilmot remove all the existing statues on the Prime Ministers' Path in Baden ahead of an upcoming special council meeting next week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The path has statues of former prime ministers including Sir Robert Borden, William Lyon Mackenzie King, Lester Pearson and Kim Campbell.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The First People\u2019s Group advised the township on June 30.
