The absence of an obstetrics department deprives them of a birth in a familiar environment, offering the emotional support of their family, the security of being close to the hospital and the familiarity of the team following the pregnancy. It is nevertheless incredible that in the 21<sup class=\"typo_exposants\">st<\/sup> century, we are still defending a local service that is essential for the physical and mental well-being of women,\"argues the Voix du PONTIAC-PONTIAC Voice Facebook group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to salute the frontline staff, who are mostly women, for the extraordinary work they have done during this pandemic.
