Hip-Hop was part of the Tri-City Area music scene since the 1990\u2019s. In the club called The Twist, for example, on Marsland Drive, people could hear Public Enemy, Ice-T and Vanilla Ice, along with all the local hip hop artists.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, many of these places, the artists, and their intersecting stories from over the last three decades have been mapped on tricityhiphop.com<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re talking with Sam Nabi, the person who\u2019s most responsible for setting up the map, and Tait Garret, hip hop artist and producer who is featured on the map.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
