Many university students will be raising their voices as they lobby the government to eliminate interest on student loans next month.<\/p>\n
The \"Knock Out Interest Campaign\" will be running throughout the week of Feb. 8-12, with support from the Northern BC Graduate Student Society (NBCGSS) and the BC Federation of Students (BCFS).<\/p>\n
With rumours circulating about an upcoming federal election, university students across BC are jumping at the chance to make students a priority in the future. Abby Dooks, director of External Relations of NBCGSS and delegate to the BCFS, took the time to explain why this campaign is important, how students are impacted and why students should be prioritized.<\/p>\n
