Cyr said the news brought a new zeal for the event for her and her children Christine, Genevi\u00e8ve and Jean-Simon.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a cancer diagnosis, Cyr, wouldn't have missed the traditional swim for anything in the world.<\/p>\n<p>St\u00e9phanie Laroque, the director of the Fondation Sant\u00e9 de l'Archipel, explains that, until recently, the Fonds Francine Daigle was mainly dedicated to the acquisition of equipment.<\/p>\n<p>With its new hemato-oncology room, the CISSS des \u00celes is working with the Foundation on other projects that will be unveiled soon.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018 and 2019, the funds raised went to the Cancer Research Society.
