\nPandemic or no pandemic, Vancouver\u2019s choirs and a cappella groups are sharing the holiday cheer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a tough year for Vancouver musical groups, but the city\u2019s singers are a determined bunch. Choirs and a cappella groups have been meeting as best as they over Zoom and online concerts have flourished. Choirs such as Chor Leoni<\/a>, the Universal Gospel Choir<\/a>, and the Vancouver Welsh Men\u2019s Choir<\/a> have offered online offerings and musical gatherings for harmony-craving Vancouverites, from Remembrance Day concerts to holiday performances.<\/p>\n

However, some choirs aren\u2019t sure if they\u2019ll be able to hang on. The Van Van Song Society<\/a> announced earlier this year the last of its rehearsals, ending its 10-year tradition of drop-in, non-auditioned, and free choir rehearsals in East Vancouver.<\/p>\n

To celebrate Vancouver\u2019s local choirs and a cappella groups, we\u2019re airing a two-part choral feature on December 24th and 25th. Tune in and celebrate over air the joy of the holiday season with the city\u2019s singers!<\/p>\n

Today we feature songs from the Rain Coast Choir<\/a>, the Marcus Mosely Chorale<\/a> and the Vancouver Welsh Men's Choir<\/a>.<\/p>\n
