But with so many closures (and new travel restrictions encouraged by BC Premier Horgan), one worries about the parts of life Smithereens move to Smithers for.<\/p>\n<p>Worry not, Smithereens, the Bulkley Valley Cross Country Ski Club has announced the Nordic Centre is open for business and ready for skiers young and old. Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/bvnordic.ca\/\">Bulkley Valley Ski Club<\/a> website for more information about COVID-19 safety protocols and updates for the season.<\/p>\n<p>And a study has been conducted by Dr. Charles Menzies, professor of Anthropology at UBC.
