The Center for Disease Control (CDC) confirmed that the total COVID-19 cases in the province now stand at 20,985 with 167 hospitalizations. The CDC made the announcement in a press release on on Friday.<\/p>\n
Of the total number of diagnosed cases, 20,698 were diagnosed in the laboratory, 50 are in ICU, 14,901 have recovered and 290 have been confirmed dead.<\/p>\n
The update revealed that new cases now stand at 617 while active cases are 5,579. The total number of new tests stand at 9,480 out of an overall of 955,239.<\/p>\n
The website also stated that on Vancouver Island, there were 16 new cases and 67 active cases. In all, there were 340 total cases: 334 were laboratory diagnosed while six were Epi-linked.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s no one in the hospital, two cases are in the ICU, there have been six deaths so far and 267 have recovered from the deadly virus.<\/p>\n
