The British Columbia (BC) Center for Disease Control on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. released an update for COVID-19 cases in the province.<\/p>\n
The BCDC website stated that total COVID-19 cases now stand at 20,368. Those currently hospitalized are 155 bringing it to a total of 1,215 hospitalized cases till date.<\/p>\n
Of the total number of diagnosed cases, 18,964 were diagnosed in the laboratory, 44 are in ICU, 14,089 have recovered and 288 have been confirmed dead.<\/p>\n
The update revealed that new cases now stand at 594 while active cases are 5,793.<\/p>\n
The website also stated that on Vancouver Island, there were five new cases and 51 active cases. In all, there were 324 total cases: 318 were laboratory diagnosed while six were Epi-linked.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s no one in the hospital, no one in ICU, there have been six deaths so far and 267 have recovered from the deadly virus.<\/p>\n
109, 397 people have received tests in all.<\/p>\n
