Hollyhock is currently under renovations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMansons Hall is actually a great venue. It's got many good advantages. The capacity is more\u2026 it has the kitchen there. Julie's gonna do Christmas treats, holiday food,\u201d Organizer Rex Weyler noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Since Hollyhock used to offer their venue free of charge, moving venues will require some added costs. As a result, the Cortes Island Community Foundation and the Cortes Island Housing Society \"stepped up\" to sponsor the event, which also ensures the musicians get paid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWinter time on Cortes, we need to create our own entertainment, our own fun,\u201d Rex said.
