{"id":195990,"date":"2023-11-21T09:50:27","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T14:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=195990"},"modified":"2023-11-21T09:52:44","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T14:52:44","slug":"sutton-receives-long-awaited-dog-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/sutton-receives-long-awaited-dog-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Sutton receives long-awaited dog park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">A dog park will officially be created for the municipality of Sutton to help better meet the needs of dog owners in the area.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">For the past ten years, Sutton resident Chantal Lavigne has been working to convince the municipality\u2019s town council to provide its citizens with a closed-in area where they can freely take their dogs to run and play.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It was around this time that Lavigne got her first dog and discovered that there aren't many welcoming spaces for dogs in Sutton. Due to living in an apartment building, Lavigne would bring her dog to play at the municipal park or for a walk on the bike bath.
