James Cadigan says they were called around 1:30 p.m. after the man showed up injured at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. He says they determined the injuries were the result on assault with a weapon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOperational Patrol Services, Police Dog Services, CID, and Forensic Identification Services, responded and continue to investigate,\u201d he says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cadigan says a 39-year-old Corner Brook man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
