Like most artists, he makes use of a computer while producing beats and recordings, though he does it without the aid of sight.

Advancements have been made in computer accessibility, but that doesn’t mean it exists everywhere. He states, “So it’s 2023. We talk about inclusion and all this stuff, but we're not up to a standard that’s usable. A lot of what you can do on a computer, a blind person is able to do. Sometimes we’ll come across a piece of software that isn’t equipped to work with the screen reader, and sometimes you have to find workarounds to get around this accessibility issue.”

Despite the frustrations and pushing for inclusion, it isn’t holding him back from making music you can groove to.

<img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-186853" class="wp-image-186853 size-medium" src="https://canada-info.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/SS_07164-black-white-studio-333x500.jpg" alt="We see Matthew Monias, the artist known as MattMac, from a side perspective, looking upon his left side.
