It's not fancy, but it's delicious. And yeah, I think that's one of the main reasons people come out,\u201d Collingwood noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/new-night-market-offers-evening-adventures-at-mansons-hall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The night market scene began last February<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a historically quiet time of year on Cortes Island, and boasted 100 people in attendance. The second event was held in early spring, and only saw about 80 people. Collingwood noted some changes to the programming for this third installment in September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI decided to add artisans and local, small crafters because \u2026it would be another opportunity to try and support small crafters on Cortes\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sara Stewart, a foodie that attended the market, told CKTZ, \u201cI was happy there was tacos!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The night market is free to attend. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/hollyhock-kitchen-now-the-only-island-dinner-spot-but-keeps-seasonal-schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hollyhock, the only dinner service on the island, plans to close this month<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for the winter. But the night market will continue through the \"off-season\" as a monthly event, according to Collingwood.
