Several calls came in around 4:30 p.m. reporting visible smoke on the mountain above Selous Creek.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, crews found multiple fires burning covering roughly half a hectare. They managed to contain and extinguish the flames.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson Fire and Rescue say the fire appeared to be suspicious in nature.
