School is back in session and that means college sports are underway as well. Two women from Nelson have begun their next year of collegiate soccer.<\/p>\n
Lennox Lockhurst<\/a> is entering heard third year (second playing soccer) at the University of Regina, and Sophie Bohri<\/a> is entering her fifth year at the University of Louisiana at Alexandria (LSUA).<\/p>\n Lockhurst says the \u201cteam goal this year is to make it to the final four.\u201d To make it to the final four, they will first have to qualify for the playoffs in the prairie division then the winner of those playoffs goes to the final four. She says, \u201cI\u2019m really hoping we are going to make it to the conference tournament again.\u201d Last year, they lost in the final. She also wants to make the first or second team in the Red River Athletic conference. In previous years, she has made the honourable mentions list.
