{"id":176833,"date":"2023-09-01T11:20:22","date_gmt":"2023-09-01T15:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=176833"},"modified":"2023-09-01T16:07:03","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T20:07:03","slug":"cobourg-woman-facing-daytime-impaired-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/cobourg-woman-facing-daytime-impaired-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"Cobourg woman facing daytime impaired charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 41-year-old Cobourg woman is facing impaired charges after police were called to a parking lot on Division Street at 2:45 Wednesday afternoon for a report of an impaired driver.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An individual was reportedly sitting in a vehicle in possession of an open container of alcohol.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police located the vehicle matching the description and found an individual passed out in the driver's seat in possession of an unsealed bottle of alcohol with the car running.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The woman was arrested for impaired operation and brought before a breath technician, but the accused declined to provide a breath sample. The woman was arrested and charged with operation while impaired by alcohol, refusal to comply with demand, and obstructing a peace officer and was released on an undertaking with a future court date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cobourg Police Staff Sgt.
