The student lead powwow will take place during Indigenous Education week (Sep. 19-22). <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">This year's student Lead Powwow and Indigenous education week is run by three TMU students including: <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Mercedes Massingale, the Pwaaganigaawin (Pow Wow) Coordinator and Anishnaabe Kendaadowin ngo-anamegiizhigak e-niigaanziikidang (Indigenous Education Lead); Emma Yerxa, the E-niigaanziikudang e-odaawejig (Vendor) and E-niigaanziikidang ezhi-ndikenjigeng Outreach Lead; and Gabrielle McMann the E-niigaanziikidang ezhi-sowejimong (Social Media &amp; Communications Lead) and E-niigaanziikidang ezhi-zhischigeng (Design Lead)<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"TextRun SCXW74957935 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW74957935 BCX0\">The student-led education week aims to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW74957935 BCX0\">provide<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW74957935 BCX0\"> confidence and a sense of place for all local Indigenous peoples in the Toronto area and incoming Indigenous students.
