{"id":175193,"date":"2023-08-26T15:56:43","date_gmt":"2023-08-26T19:56:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=175193"},"modified":"2023-08-26T15:56:43","modified_gmt":"2023-08-26T19:56:43","slug":"chamber-of-commerce-unveils-second-city-council-report-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/chamber-of-commerce-unveils-second-city-council-report-card\/","title":{"rendered":"Chamber of Commerce unveils second city council report card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce has released <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/kingstonchamberstorage.blob.core.windows.net\/uploads\/assets\/GKCC_Council_Report_Card_Q2_2023_466d92bd45.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the second edition of their City Council Report Card<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The chamber launched the report card this year as a way to provide a short summary of business-related decisions made by council and keep local business owners informed of how council is serving Kingston\u2019s business community. The document also provides a ranking of \"green\" (resulted in positive business outcomes), \"yellow\" (contained potential business concerns), or \"red\" (resulted in negative business outcomes) for each decision. This is a quarterly document, with this edition containing decisions made in May, June, and July 2023.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this time period, 13 business-related motions came before council.
