Drew Harrison Haulage was the winning bidder over QBT Excavating Services Ltd., <a href=\"https:\/\/princeedwardcounty.civicweb.net\/FileStorage\/84C65B4F85DD4B41894D01E72C8BD1DC-DS-39-2023%20FINAL%20(CAOsigned).pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which quoted at nearly double the price<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Picton Coun. Kate MacNaughton asked staff about the project\u2019s tree impacts, as a section of it will run through Rotary Park. County staff responded that the sewer design will avoid as many trees as possible, including an at-risk butternut tree.
